1. A battery pack, comprising:
a cell having a long side edge; a circuit module electrically coupled to the cell, the circuit module including an insulation substrate, an electrical element installed on a first surface of the insulation substrate, the electrical element being a chip on board (COB) electrical element, and at least one resin layer surrounding the electrical element, and overlying the long side edge of the cell; and a cover surrounding the circuit module and coupling the circuit module to the cell;wherein:
the resin layer has a first side that faces the first surface of the insulation substrate and a second side, opposite the first side, that faces the cell; and the resin layer includes:
a groove part in the second side of the resin layer, the groove part having a curved shape in a first direction extending from a first end to a second end of the resin layer, the first direction parallel to the long side edge of the cell, the groove part having a varying thickness in a second direction crossing the first direction, such that the groove part conforms to a curved shape of the long side edge of the cell,a side wall part extending from the groove part towards the insulation substrate, anda heat discharge hole in the groove part that discharges heat from the electrical element to outside the resin layer. |
