Shaped product consists of comminuted foam material, specif. polyurethane, with a particle size below 2 mm in a matrix of polyurethane resin to form a product with a density of 160-960 g/l. Used in packaging, shoe prodn. and the automobile industry, e.g. for decoration, upholstery and seals. The comminuted particles can be produced from waste foam material.
