<p>The present invention relates to a modular vehicle multimedia device and a hardware recognition method. More specifically, provided are a modular vehicle multimedia device modularizing components constituting multimedia by function, and a hardware recognition method. The modular vehicle multimedia device comprises: a base module decoding and executing a program command by recognizing hardware configuration of the multimedia device; a tuner module receiving a local radio/TV broadcast; and a navigation module providing location information by including a global positioning system (GPS) reception unit and a map data storage unit, and performs a commanded operation by combining modules having different functions.</p> |
