PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-type lead storage battery which is small in the turbidity of an electrolytic solution, easy to fill a negative electrode material paste into a current collector, and superior in low-temperature high-rate discharge performance and regeneration charge accepting performance, and which is superior in overall durability from the standpoint of making possible to prevent a positive electrode material from being softened and thus falling away.SOLUTION: A liquid-type lead storage battery comprises: a negative electrode material; a positive electrode material which contains a lead dioxide as a primary component; and a freely-flowable electrolytic solution which contains a sulfuric acid. In the liquid-type lead storage battery, the negative electrode material contains: carbon; a bisphenol-based condensate; and an alginic acid or its salt. In addition, the positive electrode material has a density of 4.0 g/cmor more. |
