PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device that can generate shape data to accurately evaluate shape data of runout (low-frequency waviness) and bulge/dent (spot defect) on a measuring tire surface.SOLUTION: A candidate extraction part 322 performs candidate extraction processing by taking out height data of serial certain numbers starting from a sample point chosen from height data of a line, calculating a difference between the median of the height data taken out and each height data taken out, and extracting a sample point whose difference is equal to or larger than a height threshold as a singular point candidate. An interpolation part 323 determines a singular point candidate whose serial number is equal to or smaller than a width threshold as a singular point, eliminates height data of the determined singular point, and interposes the eliminated height data using height data of a sample point adjacent to the singular point and other than the singular point, thus generating shape data to evaluate a runout and bulge/dent. |
