PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing delay in recovering a heating operation by controlling a defrosting operation corresponding to an installation condition.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit control portion has a defrosting operation condition table 300c determining a defrosting operation interval time Tm according to the total sum Pi of a rated capacity of an indoor unit and a refrigerant pipe length Lr as a length of a liquid pipe or a gas pipe. The outdoor unit control portion determines the defrosting operation interval time Tm referring to the defrosting operation condition table 300c by using the total sum Pi of the rated capacity of the indoor unit input by an installation information input portion. An outdoor unit control portion forcibly executes the defrosting operation when the defrosting operation interval time Tm elapses without establishment of a defrosting operation start condition after termination of the last defrosting operation. |
