PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an image processing device for creating three-dimensional profile data by synthesizing a plurality of pieces of two-dimensional profile data to recognize that output of the two-dimensional profile data is stopped and thereby prevent erroneous detection.SOLUTION: An image processing device 20, connected to a two-dimensional profile measurement device 10, synthesizes a plurality of pieces of two-dimensional profile data received from the two-dimensional profile measurement device 10 to create three-dimensional profile data indicating the three-dimensional shape of an object to be inspected. The image processing device 20 applies prescribed image processing to the three-dimensional profile data and executes inspection of the object to be inspected. The image processing device 20 receives a notification signal indicating that the two-dimensional profile measurement device 10 has stopped outputting the two-dimensional profile data. The image processing device 20 can thereby recognize that output of the two-dimensional profile data has been stopped. Erroneous determination of inspection can be prevented by altering the processing content of inspection in response to the stoppage of output. |
