TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION (QKD) SYSTEM AND QKD METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a QKD system capable of accessing at least a part of final secure key data in early stage while granting security by amplifying confidentiality.SOLUTION: A transmitter transmits first transmission key data and second transmission key data as quantum information. A first confidentiality amplification part performs confidentiality amplification for removing information that may be acquired by a wiretapper regarding the first transmission key data on the first transmission key data and generates first secure key data. A second confidentiality amplification part performs confidentiality amplification for removing information that may be acquired by a wiretapper regarding second reception key data on decoded key data and generates second secure key data. Since it is not necessary for the transmitter and a receiver to perform error correction decoding on a subset of key data, at least a part of final secure key data can be accessed on early stage.
