PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock fastener for a chain hook that can improve safety characteristic under a used state of a hooked chain applied for hanging of a temporary scaffold and can be used economically and easily.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a lock fastener 8 for integrally holding a hook 3 and an engaging chain link 2a to which this hook is engaged, This lock fastener comprises a fitting main body 9 fitted to a rear portion 3a of a hook 3 positioned at one side of an engaging chain link 2a, and a pair of right and left openable or closable holding members 10, 11 consecutively arranged from both right and left walls of the fitting main body. The pair of right and left holding members are provided with: engaging means 12 that can be freely engaged or disengaged for keeping the closed state where the pair of right and left holding members hold the engaging chain link 2a from both sides; and a position setting part 24 for prohibiting the holding member kept at its closed state against moving toward the side where an adjoining chain link 2b adjacent to outside of the hook 3 to the engaging link 2a through abutment with the adjoining chain link 2b. |
