<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an organic electroluminescent element achieving higher luminance and higher efficiency of illumination light, and also adaptable to color toning and dimming of illumination light; and a lighting system.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent element includes: a first element structure 3 where one or more light emitting units 21, 22 including a light emitting layer comprising at least an organic compound are disposed between a first anode 6 and a first cathode 7; and a second element structure 4 where one or more light emitting units 23 including a light emitting layer comprising at least an organic compound are disposed between a second anode 9 and a second cathode 10. The first element structure 3 and the second element structure 4 are independently driven, respectively. The first element structure 3 emits white light when being driven, and the second element structure 4 emits orange light when being driven.</p> |
