PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of solving a problem that a power storage device starts with rising voltage and is not able to shut down when the power storage device is started using an external voltage.SOLUTION: The power storage device includes: a first power line disposed between the positive electrode side of a power storage part and a first external terminal; a second power line disposed between the negative electrode side of the power storage part and a second external terminal; a power circuit which is connected to each of the first power line and the second power line to supply an output voltage to a control circuit in an operation state; a power control circuit that controls the operation state and non- operation state of the power circuit; a first control signal generation circuit that supplies a first control signal corresponding to the transition of the external voltage applied to the first external terminal and the second external terminal to the power control circuit to set the power circuit an operation state for a predetermined time; and a second control signal generation circuit that generates a second control signal which causes the control circuit which is supplied with the output voltage from the power circuit to continuously set the power circuit in the operation state.
