PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable valve control device of an internal combustion engine capable of controlling an intake valve of an internal combustion engine to a desired valve opening state.SOLUTION: A variable valve control part 41 with a tappet for changing a lift amount is provided with a variable member control part 43 for controlling a valve opening state of an intake valve by displacing a movable member when the intake valve is in the valve opening state. The movable member control part 43 comprises a control time calculation part 44 for calculating an operation start timing of the tappet, and a timer part 50. The movable member control part 43 comprises: an intake valve opening time calculation part 51 for calculating an intake valve opening time; an intake air amount error calculation part 54; and a valve opening time correction control part 46 for correcting the intake valve opening time so that the intake air amount error is less than a predetermined threshold value when it is not less than a predetermined threshold value. |
