PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-field optical observation apparatus capable of optically observing a non-dyed and non-fixed biological sample in liquid with high resolution, a sample-containing environmental cell manufacturing method, a scanning electron optical microscope, and a method of using the scanning electron optical microscope.SOLUTION: A near-field optical observation apparatus 11 comprises: an environmental cell 12 including a space part capable of hermetically holding a sample, an incidence window provided on one side of the space part, and an emission window provided on the other side of the space part; and a light emission measurement module 13. The incidence window includes a luminescent material that can emit light by electron beam excitation. |
