PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static electricity protection component capable of enhancing ESD absorption performance.SOLUTION: A static electricity protection component 1 includes: a base body 3 formed by laminating a plurality of insulator layers 2; a first discharge electrode 6A and a second discharge electrode 6B which are arranged so as to be separated from each other in the base body 3; a coil 20 arranged in the base body 3; and a first external electrode 4A and a second external electrode 4B which are arranged on both end faces 3a, 3b of the base body 3. The static electricity protection component 1 is configured so that the first discharge electrode 6A is connected to the first external electrode 4A, the second discharge electrode 6B is connected to the second external electrode 4B, one end E1 of the coil 20 is connected to the first external electrode 4A, the another end E2 of the coil 20 is connected to the second external electrode 4B, and a DC resistance value of the coil 20 is 21 &OHgr; or less. |
