<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm wheel which has tooth parts made of a synthetic resin including glass fiber and improves the lubricity of an engagement part while inhibiting increase of a friction coefficient of each tooth surface, and to provide a manufacturing method of the worm wheel.SOLUTION: A worm wheel 22 includes: an annular synthetic resin part 25 which is made of a synthetic resin containing glass fiber 27 and has tooth parts 24 at an outer periphery; and an annular core bar 23 which is integrally formed at an inner periphery of the synthetic resin part 25 and made of a metal. In the worm wheel 22, the glass fiber 27 is removed from a surface of a tooth surface 26 of each tooth part 24.</p> |
