摘要 The present invention relates to a touch sensor and a driving method thereof. The touch sensor includes multiple driving electrodes; multiple sensing electrodes intersecting the driving electrodes; a touch driving unit that supplies a touch driving signal to the driving electrode; a voltage measuring unit that measures an output voltage per time frame of the sensing electrodes; a memory in which multiple code matrices are stored; and a capacitance calculation unit that selects any one of the multiple code matrices stored in the memory, and calculates the capacitance between the sensing electrodes and the driving electrodes through a voltage matrix calculation process consisting of the selected code matrices and the output voltage per time frame of the sensing electrodes. By modifying the code matrices to compute the capacitance of the touch electrodes, the present invention can provide a touch sensor and a driving method thereof which reduce the influence of noise and increase the precision of touch recognition.
