PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy extruded material for cutting having high fatigue strength in a vertical direction (LT direction) to a direction of extrusion of the extruded material.SOLUTION: There is provided the aluminum alloy extruded material containing Cu:2.9 to 5.5 mass%, Mg:1.0 to 2.5 mass%, Ni:0.5 to 3.0 mass%, Fe:0.5 to 1.5 mass%, Si:0.4 mass% or less, Ti:0.005 to 0.15 mass%, and further total 0.7 mass% or less of one or more kind of Mn:0.05 to 0.6 mass%, Cr:0.05 to 0.3 mass%, Zr:0.05 to 0.3 mass%, V:0.05 to 0.3 mass% and the balance Al with inevitable impurities and satisfying the following formula (1), where &sgr;WLT: fatigue strength in the LT direction, &sgr;WL: fatigue strength in a L direction (extrusion direction), TSLT: tensile strength in the LT direction and TSL: tensile strength in the L direction. &sgr;/TS>&sgr;/TS...(1). |
