PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strand cutting device capable of suppressing the occurrence of erroneous cut, and thereby improving product quality, by winding a strand properly around a drum by preventing the strand from drooping just before being wound around the drum.SOLUTION: In a strand cutting device 10, a strand S is guided between a drum cutter 20 and a roller 32 by winding the strand S by driving rotatively the drum cutter 20, and the strand S wound around the drum cutter 20 is pressed by the roller 32 to thereby cut the strand S by cutter edges 23, 23, etc. Further, a support plate 43 capable of supporting the strand S from below is disposed in the strand cutting device 10. |
