PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hydraulic power steering device which can prevent the lowering of a steering feeling even if an abnormality is detected in one electric pump.SOLUTION: A control device of a hydraulic steering device comprises: steering angle detection means which detects a steering angle of a steering wheel; steering speed calculation means which calculates a steering speed from the steering angle which is detected by the steering angle detection means; and control means which controls the operation of a hydraulic actuator by the supply of drive power to a three-phase brushless motor. When the steering speed calculated by the steering speed calculation means reaches a prescribed value or higher in the case that one phase of the three-phase brushless motor of one electric pump becomes abnormal due to an energization failure during a first and second electric pumps are in operation, the control means operates the three-phase brushless motor for driving the electric pump whose one phase is stopped due to the energization failure by two-phase drive. |
