PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for compressor which uses aluminum for winding free from any problem in performance or manufacturing and a compressor including the same.SOLUTION: A motor for compressor 20 is employed for a scroll compressor 1 which compresses a coolant by driving a scroll compression element 10. The motor for compressor 20 includes: a stator 23 having a stator winding 24; and a rotator 25 which rotates within the stator 23. The stator winding 24 is constituted of a copper clad aluminum wire, or a composite wire of copper clad aluminum wire and copper wire.
