PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for prevention and/or therapy of pneumonia causing pulmonary fibrosis including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and/or for prevention and/or therapy of pulmonary fibrosis including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), which cannot be solved with conventional pharmaceutical compositions.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for prevention and/or therapy of pneumonia and/or pulmonary fibrosis comprises a compound having sialidase inhibitory activity.
