摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a pressing force by which a pressing member presses a friction member to a rotor disc without increasing a pressing force of a pressing device by effectively utilizing the rotation torque of the friction member.SOLUTION: A friction brake device 10 comprises: a brake rotor 12; brake pads 14A, 14B which can rotate around a rotation axial line 36 which is parallel with a rotating axial line 18 of the brake rotor; rotation torque transmission devices 80A, 80B which mutually transmit rotation rotor between the brake rotor and the brake pads; and a pressing device 54 which presses pressing members 34A, 34B to the brake pads, and presses the brake pads to the brake rotor. The friction brake device also has rotation torque-pressing force conversion mechanisms 42A, 42B and 82A, 82B which transmit the rotation torque of the brake pads to the pressing members, and convert the rotation torque of the pressing members to pressing forces by which the pressing members press the brake pads.</p>
