Progressive zones are developed in the warps so that in the areas to be woven in garment component shapes, the weft system gives no weft protrusion on one side of the fabric. This ensures that when the fusible interlining is attached to the carrier fabric, the weft is not bonded to it, allowing the weft to retain its naural elasticity.
