<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for straightening a steel sheet with a roller leveler capable of improving flatness and straightening the steel sheet by making residual stress small even when edge waves or center buckle occurs at the steel sheet before straightening.SOLUTION: A steel sheet 1 is straightened, shown in (Fig. 5(a)), by warping a leveling roll 12 so that rolling reduction at both end parts in a width direction becomes large to the rolling reduction at a center part in the width direction of the steel sheet when the shape defect of center buckle occurs at the steel sheet 1 before straightening. The steel sheet 1 is straightened, shown in (Fig. 5(b)), by warping the leveling roll 12 so that the rolling reduction at the center part in the width direction of the steel sheet becomes large to the rolling reduction at both end parts in the width direction when the shape defect of edge waves occurs at the steel sheet 1 before straightening.</p> |
