<p>The present invention relates to a collimator for a radiation therapy using resistance heat. The collimator to form a radiation region to transmit radiation includes a pixel layer which is divided with a lattice shape and includes each lattice which is one conductive pixel, a radiation resistor to which the pixel layer is attached, wherein each lattice corresponding to each conductive pixel is a resistance device, a power supply unit which includes the radiation resistor on the front side thereof to transmit the resistance heat to each conductive pixel of the pixel layer by generating the resistance heat by power which is individually supplied to each resistance device of the radiation resistor, and a control unit which controls the operation of the power supply unit. The radiation emission region is formed by a difference of density according to the heating state of each conductive pixel by the resistance heat generated in each resistance device of the radiation resistor by the power supply unit and the control unit. The shape of a complex tumor tissue is precisely made by selectively opening the conductive pixel by the resistance heat. Thus, the excessive radiation dose exposed to a normal tissue is efficiently prevented.</p> |
