PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a camera for detecting user operation to enter power-saving mode, thereby reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a camera for imaging a user, and control means which executes control processing on the basis of operation of the user captured by the camera. A human sensor is arranged near the camera to detect the user. The control means causes the camera to operate in a power-saving mode when no user is detected by the human sensor, and releases the power-saving mode of the camera when a user is detected by the human sensor. |
