<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ocean current power generation facility and a mooring method for the same capable of obtaining high electric generating capacity at a location with a fast ocean current and reducing a scale of a mooring facility newly constructed to moor an ocean current power generation device and an electric transmission facility to transmit electricity generated by the ocean current power generation facility.SOLUTION: An ocean current power generation facility 1 comprises: an ocean current power generation device 2 which has a blade 4 rotated by an ocean current and a generator generating electric power through rotation of the blade 4 and is suspended in seawater; and a mooring wire 3 with one end thereof connected to the ocean current power generation device 2 and the other end connected to a platform 10, for oil or natural gas production, fixed or anchored to a seafloor 20.</p> |
