<p>The present invention relates to a helical core structure for electromagnetic forming and an electromagnetic forming apparatus using the same, and more specifically, to an electromagnetic forming apparatus which uses a helical core structure to form a plate-type workpiece, and to expand, shorten, and couple a tubular workpiece. Particularly, a shielding plate is formed at a central portion of a helical coil to prevent reduction in electromagnetic forming force due to magnetic field compensation in a circular coil in order to obtain sufficient electromagnetic forming force even with low electricity, thereby being applied to various electromagnetic forming devices and improving energy efficiency of an electromagnetic forming device. Accordingly, reliability and competitiveness of an electromagnetic forming field, particularly a field of electromagnetically forming a flat plate-type workpiece and fields similar with or related to the field, are improved.</p> |
