PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended ceiling structure that can easily and securely improve earthquake performance by installing a tension material at a ceiling part while preventing interference with suspension hardware which supports by suspension an object to be suspended which is installed below the ceiling part.SOLUTION: A suspended ceiling structure includes: a tension material 11 which is sectioned substantially in a channel shape having a pair of side wall parts 11a and a connection part 11b and also formed in a bar-like shape, and extended in one direction T1 and/or the other direction T2 below a ceiling material 6 and along a ceiling surface; and suspension hardware 12 which is suspended penetrating the ceiling material 6 while having its one end connected to a ceiling substrate 7, and supports an object 13 to be suspended by suspension. Tension material connecting hardware 17 for arranging a plurality of tension materials 11 linearly by mutually connecting end parts 11c thereof includes: a connection plate part 17a which is fixed to side wall parts 11a of one tension material 11 and the other tension material 11; and a suspension hardware insertion hole 19 which communicates with a gap between the end parts 11c of the one tension material 11 and the other tension material 11 and into which the suspension hardware 12 is inserted. |
