PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted head-up display device which allows for adjusting brightness of a virtual image by changing a polarization state of display light without inviting increase in the number of components and size.SOLUTION: A vehicle-mounted head-up display device presents display information as a virtual image visible from a driver's seat of a vehicle by having a windshield or combiner reflect display light transmitting through a dust cover. The dust cover is roll-manufactured and is translucent. Defining a longitudinal axis as a line connecting one point on one end side of a display in a longitudinal direction and another point on the other end side opposite the one end side and at the same height as the one point, brightness of a virtual image is adjusted by adjusting an angle between a rolling direction of a resin sheet used for the dust cover and the longitudinal axis on the virtual image of the display reflected by a reflective mirror. |
