PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle management system and a vehicle management apparatus capable of acquiring a priority order of traveling vehicles for an arbitrary point at the arbitrary point of time.SOLUTION: A vehicle management system according to an embodiment includes: a wireless device and a vehicle management device. In the wireless device, an on-vehicle device information receiving unit receives on-vehicle device identification information transmitted from a DSRC on-vehicle device for identifying the DSRC on-vehicle device. A vehicle travel information generation unit generates vehicle travel information that contains the received on-vehicle device identification information, identification information for identifying the on-vehicle device information receiving unit, and time information. In the vehicle management device, a vehicle travel information acquisition unit captures the vehicle travel information from the wireless device. A vehicle travel information storage unit stores therein the captured vehicle travel information. A priority order determining unit calculates a position of each vehicle at certain time on the basis of the vehicle travel information stored in the vehicle travel information storage unit, and determines a priority order of each vehicle according to a distance from this position to a predetermined point. |
