PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide; a coloring composition excellent in heat resistance and solvent solubility and capable of forming a pattern having suppressed color migration; a cured film and color filter using the coloring composition; a method for manufacturing the color filter; a solid state image sensor; and an image display device.SOLUTION: (A) The coloring composition comprises: a polymer anion having a repeating unit including a low nucleophilic anion structure; and a coloring matter having a cation structure, where the low nucleophilic anion structure shows an anion structure in which organic acid having pKa lower than that of sulfuric acid is dissociated.
