PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device capable of successfully protecting an operation member by a simple structure and to provide a watch provided with the same.SOLUTION: A switch device comprises: a wrist watch case 1 having a through hole 7; an operation member 8 having an operation shaft 9 which is inserted into the through hole 7 of the wrist watch case 1 and an operation head 10 which is provided at an end of the operation shaft 9 and projects to the outside of the wrist watch case 1; and a guide protector 14 which is provided in the wrist watch case 1, and movably holds the operation head 10. Consequently, by a simple structure in which the wrist watch case 1 is only provided with the guide protector 14 which movably holds the operation head 10 of the operation member 8, displacement of the operation head 10 in a direction orthogonal to its axial direction can be prevented by the guide protector 14 even when the operation head 10 of the operation member 8 receives an impact from outside, thereby, curve deformation and breakage of the operation shaft 9 of the operation member 8 due to the impact can be certainly prevented. |
