PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detector of electric motor capable of precisely calculating a torque applied to a shaft of an electric motor.SOLUTION: The abnormality detector of electric motor includes: an acceleration calculation section that calculates acceleration of an electric motor based on a piece of information from a speed sensor which is disposed on the electric motor when driving a load mounted on the shaft of the electric motor; and a torque calculation section that calculates the torque applied to the shaft of the electric motor based on a preset moment of inertia and the acceleration of the electric motor. With this arrangement, the torque applied to the shaft of an electric motor can be precisely calculated. |
