<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head in which a distance of flight of a hit ball is improved by bringing a hitting point close to a maximum deflection point.SOLUTION: In a normal condition of a golf club head 10, a point of a face surface 12A separated upward by Z mm determined by an expression (1) vertically from a horizontal plane P is assumed as a reference point Pr. A virtual surface where the normal of the face surface 12A passing through the reference point Pr passes through an intersection point intersecting with a face back side 12B and is parallel to face surface 12A is assumed as a first virtual surface PX. A portion of the first virtual surface PX passing through a place where a sole part 14 intersects with a face portion 12 is assumed as a first virtual surface portion PX1. In the face back side 12B, a face portion side thin wall part 32 is provided from the place near the sole part 14 of the face back side 12B to the first virtual surface portion PX1. In a sole back side 14B, a sole part side thin wall part 34 is provided from the place near the face portion 12 of the sole back side 14B to the first virtual surface portion PX1.</p> |
