<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of reducing groove pitch unevenness while avoiding image quality deterioration and gap clogging.SOLUTION: In a developing device, a power supply outputs a waveform having an AC bias part in which a DC component is superposed on an AC component as developing bias, and a blank part that follows the AC bias part and only contains the DC component in one cycle. A groove passage time T and a blank time t1 are set so as to satisfy the relation of the groove passage time T<the blank time t1. In addition, the blank time t1 and a developing time t2 are set so as to satisfy the relation of t1/t2≤10. Preferably, those are set so as to satisfy the condition of the developing time t2<the groove passage time T<the blank time t1. Furthermore, a duty ratio of the AC bias part is set so as to make the developing time t2 shorter than a collection time.</p> |
