<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that each time the information of content is updated in a terminal which displays the content by communicating with a server, the fact of the update is reported from the server side, or the update situations are inquired from a user side via a terminal operation to the server side in a conventional manner, causing an excessive processing load to be imposed on the server or the terminal, and causing inefficiency from a standpoint of communication line use or a standpoint of the standby time of communication.SOLUTION: In a content display system, when receiving a request from a terminal, a server transmits a response accompanied by update management information, and when acquiring the update management information, the terminal compares the update management information with the stored update management information, and requests the transmission of the latest content display control unique information to the server in accordance with the result, and when receiving the latest content display control unique information from the server in response to the request, the terminal updates the content display control unique information which has been used until that time, and displays the content.</p> |
