PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve, in a simple form without increasing costs, the problem of deterioration of display response performance at low temperature associated with a head-up display device having a display unit, whose display response performance deteriorates at low temperature, and a light source for irradiating the display unit.SOLUTION: A head-up display increases drive current for a light source 3 that irradiates a display unit 2 with light to enhance luminance when display response performance is bad due to low temperature of the display unit 2, and utilizes heat generated in the light source 3 and a driver circuit 3D by the increased drive current to heat up a space 2H facing the display unit 2 and the light source 3 as well as the display unit 2 itself through the space 2H to relieve the display unit 2 of the low temperature condition that deteriorates the display response performance. |
