PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction printer 100 the usability of which is improved for each user and all users, by combining the number of printed sheet management of top-down type with the number of printed sheet management of bottom-up type, while optimizing the print cost sufficiently.SOLUTION: A multifunction printer 100 includes calculation means 402 for calculating a permitted number of print sheets which can be printed by a user on the basis of a privilege number of print sheets assigned to the privilege of a user who has logged in, and a department number of print sheets assigned to the department to which the user belongs, and permission means 406 for permitting the user to print when the permitted number of print sheets thus calculated exceeds the used number of print sheets on which user has already printed. |
