PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier film for an optical film having excellent gas barrier properties while using a triacetylcellulose resin substrate or an acrylic resin substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided a barrier film for an optical film which comprises a primer layer and a barrier layer in this order on one transparent resin substrate selected from a triacetylcellulose resin substrate and an acrylic resin substrate. The primer layer is composed of a cure product of a resin composition for a primer layer containing at least an acrylate-based compound having at least two or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds in one molecule. The barrier layer is composed of a resin composition for a barrier layer containing at least a cylcoolefin-based resin and a terpene-based resin or a cured product thereof.
