<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler capable of detecting a concentration degree of water and a water level in a can body by using an electrode bar even when water with high purity is used.SOLUTION: A boiler 1 includes: a housing 21; a plurality of water pipes 22; a can body 20 having a lower header 23 and an upper header 24; a separator 5 for performing steam separation for steam collected in the upper header 24; a steam introduction line L4 for introducing steam SM1 collected in the upper header 24 to the separator 5; a downcomer line L6 capable of supplying water separated by the separator 5 to the lower header 23; a first electrode bar 41 arranged at a first position in the downcomer line L6 and detecting electric conductivity for detecting the concentration degree of water; and a second electrode bar 42 arranged at a second position in the downcomer line L6, detecting the electric conductivity for detecting the water level, and capable of detecting the electric conductivity with higher sensitivity than that of the first electrode bar.</p> |
