摘要 Provided are a surgical robot system which extends working space for surgical tools using a guide tube motion having redundancy and a method for controlling the same. A surgical robot system according to an embodiment comprises: a slave device having surgical tools; and a master device which controls actions of the surgical tools. The slave device comprises: the guide tube with which the surgical tools are combined; and a control unit which operates the surgical tools according to control signals transmitted from the master device and operates the guide tube to move the surgical tools towards target location when the target location of the surgical tools according to the control signal is corresponded to a location outside the current working space of the surgical tools.
