<p>An automatic teller machine having a fraud surveillance function includes a camera for capturing an image of a subject to be monitored, the subject to be monitored being provided with unique ID information; a recording unit that records code information set in the unique ID information and positional information of the unique ID information; an identifying unit that identifies the unique ID information from the captured image of the subject to be monitored and acquires the code information, and that also specifies the position of the unique ID information and acquires the positional information; and a surveillance processing unit that regards the code information and the positional information of the unique ID information, both recorded in the recording unit, as recorded code information and recorded positional information, regards the code information and the positional information of the unique ID information, both acquired by the identifying unit, as acquired code information and acquired positional information, compares the recorded code information with the acquired code information and also compares the recorded positional information with the acquired positional information, thereby determining whether or not the fraud exists with respect to the subject to be monitored.</p> |
