PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive sensor capable of effectively avoiding erroneous sensing.SOLUTION: A cover 17A surrounding a detector 22 is formed in a hemispherical shape in which a portion directly facing a light receiving part 22a of a detector 22 has an apex, and a condenser lens 23 to condense radiation light from a sensing object area on the light receiving part 22a of the detector 22 is formed in the cover 17A in belt-like arrangement linearly passing through the apex of the cover 17A in a front view with respect to the light receiving part 22a of the detector 22 in a state circularly extending along the peripheral surface of the cover 17A in a longitudinal section view.
