PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method that can notify exactly and early a seat state in an own vehicle so as to improve recognizability of a user.SOLUTION: The information processor comprises: an image input portion 7 that inputs images in a predetermined area within an own vehicle taken by a camera 11; an image analyzing portion 6 that analyzes changes in posture of a predetermined object person or object in the images inputted in the image input portion 7; and a meter panel 12 and a display portion 13 that make notification plural times in steps according to degrees of the changes analyzed by the image analyzing portion 6.
