PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor device which is housed in a package container equipped with a window and can avoid a phenomenon which deteriorates image quality.SOLUTION: An optical sensor device includes: a sensor chip having arrayed light receiving elements; and a read circuit which is located under the sensor chip in which the sensor chip and an electrode are flip-chip connected to each other via a bump. In plain view from the sensor chip side, the read circuit is hidden by the sensor chip and has no portion protruding therefrom.
