PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery installation for converter dust which can separate impurities efficiently from copper contained in converter dust, independently of variation of impurity and copper qualities of converter dust.SOLUTION: A recovery installation for converter dust includes an electrical dust precipitator 3 and a recovery apparatus 4 for recovering converter dust discharged from the electrical dust precipitator 4. The electrical dust precipitator 3 is divided into a plurality of sections 3a to 3d in the flow direction of the exhaust gas, and converter dust collected in the individual sections 3a to 3d is discharged separately. The recovery apparatus 4 is provided with a plurality of recovery parts 41A and 41B, and the converter dust discharged from individual sections 3a to 3d is charged selectively into either of the recovery parts 41A and 41B. Recovery regions high in impurity quality and regions high in copper quality are determined according to variation of impurity and copper qualities, and converter dust can be recovered by recovery regions, allowing efficient separation of impurities from copper contained in the converter dust. |
