<p>The present invention relates to a food waste disposal apparatus comprising a dehydration unit equipped with a filter to dehydrate food waste; and a cutter to pulverize food waste in the filter. The dehydration unit (10) comprises a dehydration container (11) as a case; a filter (12) which is arranged on the inner side of the dehydration container (11), has a surface formed in a porous net structure and has a cutter (21) arranged adjacently to the bottom to cut food waste; and a sweeper (13) arranged to touch the inner side of the filter (12) in order to sweep the inner side of the filter (12), thereby solving the problem of deterioration in dehydration performance caused by food waste that gets stuck in holes formed on the filter (12) in a dehydration process. Accordingly, the food waste disposal apparatus has an effect of more effectively dehydrating food waste, and dehydrates and desalinates the food waste repeatedly by comprising a nozzle spraying wash water and a water storage tank, thereby having an effect of performing an effective desalination process. In addition, the food waste disposal apparatus comprises a drying means equipped with a hot air circulation unit to allow hot air generated by a heater to be circulated throughout a drying container. A condensation unit is provided to condense moisture in hot air discharged after a drying process of food waste, and the hot air dried via the condensation unit communicates towards an inlet part to allow the hot air to be continually circulated throughout the drying container. Accordingly, the food waste disposal apparatus has effects of effectively drying food waste by hot air and being able to dry the food waste without occurrence of odor as the dried hot air is not discharged to the outside.</p> |
