<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy identification of image data to be read.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes an input section for accepting the input of designating the start, continue or end of reading of a document image, a reading section for reading the image of a document by designation of start or continue, to create read data, a file forming section for forming a read data file filing the read data for each read operation sectioned by designation of continue, a file name giving section for giving a file name to each read data file, and a file list creating section for creating a file list based on the file name.
