PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that acquires the charging amount of a job in a simple and reliable manner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus stores a plurality of charging tables for calculating the charging amount in the execution of a job in a storage unit. A communication terminal acquires a charging table from the storage unit on the basis of identification information identifying the communication terminal, calculates the charging amount of a job to be transmitted to the image forming apparatus on the basis of the acquired charging table, and displays the calculated charging amount.
